Volunteer
From refereeing kids’ game days to providing pro-bono photoshoots of our work, volunteers are the core of our team, helping us serve more than 3,000 poet-athletes at over 60 schools across Washington, D.C.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Referee
Support our Thursday elementary school game days as a referee. Full training is provided, so no previous experience is required, though a knowledge of soccer is a plus! Game days take place weekly on Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. during our fall and spring seasons.
Events
Event volunteers support our major program and fundraising events with set-up and breakdown, staffing activities and activations, and greeting families and supporters.

Photography/Videography
Skilled with a camera? Support our programs and events with pro-bono photography and videography. Opportunities exist throughout the school year and summer.
Office Volunteer
Support DC SCORES during office hours with administrative duties, office management, material preparation, and other help.
